The succulent palate possesses restrained tannins with interlacing layers of sweet black fruit, roasted cocoa bean, pipe tobacco, and smoked meat. An alluring, Bordeaux-like expression of this legendary vineyard, the 2011 vintage will reward patient cellaring. Decanting this wine in its youth will allow it to best display its many intriguing aromas.
