Chardonnay Vines: The Chardonnay is looking healthy and starting to go through bloom. We have mowed and hoe-plowed between the vines, aerating the soil and tilling in our compost from last year.

Sauvignon Blanc Vines: We are constantly trying to perfect our farming so that each vine is in the optimum balance. This year our cluster numbers in the Sauvignon Blanc look great. This time of year is gorgeous in the vineyard - wildflowers that we plant to help refresh the soil and bring in the ‘good bugs', are in full bloom and looking quite lovely.

Cabernet Vines: It looks like 2010 will be a standout year for Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller concentrated clusters. The year started strong, and with the staggered ripening of the blocks we will have a variety of options later this year to harvest.

More information to come as the year progresses.
